Tiles & Truenames: Shadow of the Wordtree

• A wordplaying adventure powered by a trusty bag of tiles. Create your Spellcaster simply by writing their name, then literally spell out your spells!

• Mix and match class abilities based on your Truename’s first and last letters. Wield the powers of concatenation and conflagration as an Elementalist [LMN]. Constructively criticize your friends’ spells as an Editorceror [PS].

• Increase your power by chaining spells with allies and drawing on the names of objects all around you. The meanings of the words you spell shape their narrative impact!

• Over two dozen pun-powered opponents, from Anagrampires and Vowelbears to the Diabolinkal beings of the Lower Case.

• Make Spell Checks to face hazards, and race a countdown to defeat rival Spellcasters in head-to-head Spelling Duels.

• Trek through dungeon tiles in Lexpedition mode, with or without a GM. Acquire powerful relics such as the Enveloping Orig-armour or Insightful Italisman.

This game was created as part of the 2024 Token Bag Game Jam. You will require a bag of tiles with letters and little numbers on them. You know the ones!
